March 27th, 2025
Why do so many game development teams struggle to succeed? Why is collaborating, managing the project, and having a good development process so hard? What is all the fuss about agile and why doesn't it seem to do what it says on the tin and help with these challenges?
This is an interactive talk on agile development in NZ, covering:
- Why game development projects and teams often struggle to succeed.
- Common challenges, antipatterns, and misperceptions in NZ agile game development.
- What is "agile" really, why it works, and what it needs to work.
